Yes you can switch out the stock, to ANY stock compatible with a milspec buffer tube. Few good options are the MFT Minimalist, Bravo company B5 SOPMOD, or really anything by Magpul. I have the MOE SL on my AR and I like it. MOE SL is in stock here https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/10455/magpul+mag347-blk+moe+sl+carbine+stock+black+synthetic+for+ar15+m16+m4+with+mil-spec+tubes
You would also need to change out the buffer tube, before putting on the new stock, didn't realize the buffer was a proprietary design, but it will take a standard milspec tube in stock here https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/714022210/lbe+ar+milspec+buffer+tube+gry
Thomas, yes sir, you definitely can. The chevytac 5.56 uses a milspec buffer tube. So any standard milspec AR-15 stock will work. I really like the battle link minimalist stock, here's a link to one if interested..........https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/99033/battlelink+minimalist+stock+mil+blk........ Or another great stock is the magpul ctr, here's a link to that one if interested............ https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/1143/magpul+mag310-blk+ctr+carbine+stock+black+synthetic+for+ar15+m16+m4+with+mil-spec+tubes........... Lastly if you want something for more precision style shooting you can't beat the Luth ar mba3 stock, here's a link to that one also........... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/712017670/ar-15+stock+assembly+adjustable+carbine+length+black...... Hope this helps.
Josh the buffer tube is a milspec diameter, but it doesn't have the the ridge/slot or adjustment holes on the bottom, so he'd also need to switch out the buffer tube, or it would not lock into place.
I linked to a buffer tube that would work in my second post l, or any milspec buffer tube would work as well.
Also the battle link stock is made by mission first tactical (MFT)
Thomas, there's two different cheytacs. If you have this one you would need to change buffer tubes, here's the link to the one......... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/131545/cheytac+5.56+nato+16in.+30rd.......... If you have the other one you wouldn't need to change buffer tubes because it comes with a milspec buffer tube. Just Google the upc 687700089629 if you have that one any milspec AR-15 stock will fit like the ones we showed. if you have the first one I linked to you would need a milspec buffer tube, here's a link to the buffer tube you would need for the first cheytac if interested........... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/52008/aim+sports+xdb15pstoc+buffer+tube+mil-spec+ar-15+m4+black+anodized.......... Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully explained this well enough.
Paul, didn't realize there was two versions. The one I was looking at comes with a milspec buffer tube and a B5 System Enhanced SOPMOD Stock 6 Position Collapsible
