Ken, the manufacturer doesn't disclose what brand but they're likely manufactured by American tactical imports like the shotgun. They are just standard adjustable iron sights and can be removed. To remove just loosen the screw and they'll pop right off. Underneath the sights is a standard picatinny rail, so any picatinny compatible sights/optics will fit. Hope this helps.
