The Heritage pistols are no CA approved at the current time. The new "steel frame" models may be after 1/2018 : http://www.heritagemfg.com/product_detail.cfm?prod_id=53
Go to your local gun store and check. I know that this gun is carried at my local Turner's.

Yes Randy, CA law allows: *Permissible handguns that are NOT on the handgun roster: Single - action revolvers that have at least a 5 round capacity with a barrel length of at least 3 inches and an overall length of at least 7 ½ inches are permitted.
