Derrick, yes, if you're denied the FFL dealer will ship it back to buds and you will be refunded. I'd recommend contacting your local FFL dealer to see if he can run a background check before purchasing the firearm just to see if you're eligible. Or your local sheriff's office should be able to assist you. Hope this helps and good luck.
