David, potentially but it is perfectly legal to purchase now. I have many AR type pistols with braces and we will just have to deal with whatever the aftermath is. Cheers and stay safe!

David, from my understanding yes it would be affected. You would have to remove the brace or get a $200 tax stamp because it would be considered a SBR/ short barreled rifle. Right now it's 100% legal, I own several of these braces. I really doubt they will ban pistol braces though. Plenty of people are trying to block the ban. Hope this helps.
