No it is not waterproof, although there are moisture sensors inside the safe that will alert you via the app if, moisture is introduced, it will not hold up to flooding, it is also has no fire rating listed on vaulteks website, and it weighs less then 100 pounds most safes with a good hefty fire rating are usually much heavier, this is more technology and convenient, then it is a bomb proof safe.
