This looks like a fine pistol based on all the review but I'm wondering how do you aim this with any precision since it appears (from the photos) that there is no rear site post?

Robert, the rear sight is built into the frame. It's just a notch right in front of the hammer. I have similar revolvers with the same style sights and they can be surprisingly accurate. If you Google Ruger Wrangler sights you can view pictures of what I'm talking about. Hope this helps.
