Alan, I have this model and the overall fit and finish belies the price. The feed ramp is not polished but has a nice smooth finish and has been reliable right out of the box. Cheers and stay safe!

Alan, I don't have experience with this 1911 but from reviews it seems to be a quality 1911 for the price. For just a few bucks more you can buy a rock island armory 1911 though. Wich I do own and they're fantastic pistols, very accurate and reliable. The slide to frame fit is nice and tight, barely any wiggle and extremely smooth. I own one in 9mm and 45, both great.
