Dakota, this has a holster grip already installed, which can be clipped to your waistband. The last 2 letters (HG) in the model number stand for Holster Grip. Have a great day!

Dakota, the grip/holster has a clip on the left side but it can be reversed to either side. So yes you can clip it to a waistband no problem. If you Google the upc 744253000492 you can find bettter pictures that show both sides. Hope this helps
