Tony, no, 9mm has a higher chamber pressure than 38 special. So Eve if it was possible the higher chamber pressure could damage the firearm. Sorry but hope this helps.
No, 9mm cases are larger in diameter at the base than 38 Special. And unless your 38 chambers are super loose they will not accept 9mm. You will also have a headspace issue. Not enough room between the recoil shield and the face of the cylinder for both the 9mm rim and moon clip. I hope this helps
