Hunter, no Sir as the GSG 16 Models have a non functional Faux/Fake Suppressor. Cheers and stay safe!
Hunter, no, you do not. The gsg 16 has a faux suppressor Wich is a fake suppressor. It doesn't actually help make the firearm any quieter. So you don't have to get a $200 tax stamp and register it. Just purchase it like you would any other firearm. Hope this helps.
If this were a "Functional" suppressor then the answer would be yes along with the $200 Tax Stamp. This however is just for show & Non Functioning so the Answer here is No, you do Not need anything to own.
Nope no tax stamp needed. Its a barrel shroud not a real suppressor the barrel is a full 16inches long. See this video on disassembly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDtNlx38rlY With the GSG you cannot even add a suppressor if you wanted to, as the barrel is not threaded. Unlike other .22's like the HK Mp5 etc.
Hunter, no special license needed. The faux suppressor adds to the tactical look of the rifle, it is not functional. Have a great day!
