I just purchased a new CA BFT47. It locks up and will not manually cycle with the dust cover removed, but it will cycle with the cover on. The serial number was not listed on the BFT recall notice. I have not fired the gun or chambered a round yet. This issue has me concerned that it is not safe to fire. Please advise. Thanks.
