KUSA is of high quality with better QC than Riley Defense. If you don't mind imported AK, then wasr, rh10, m10, ake or zastava are great and relatively more affordable. I hope this helps!

Sean, either would work great as a entry level ak. Out of the two the kusa 103 is better quality but it's also roughly $300 more. So it's up to you if a little better quality is worth the extra money. Another great option is the zastava arms zpap m70 wich is roughly priced Right in-between the two you're looking at.
