Andrew, Unfortunately after the firearm is transferred into your name buds wouldn't really be able to help. You would have to go through the manufacturer. So I'd recommend contacting chiappa at 1.937.835.5000 Mon-Fri 9AM-4PM or you can email them at ( INFO@CHIAPPAFIREARMS.COM ) for warranty work. Sorry you're having trouble with the firearm but hope this helps and good luck recovering, I had covid around 6 months ago and it was rough.

Andrew, sounds like a manufacturing defect. **Upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer's warranty policy). By sending a de fective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees associated with returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.
