Gavin, yes, it can easily be removed and replaced with any "carbine length drop-in handguard". Just Google "how to replace a drop in handguard" and they will have plenty of videos on how to do so. You can also attach accessories with the handguard you have now. You can attach a picatinny rail by mounting one with the little circular holes in the handguard. Here's a link to a picatinny rail that will fit the handguard you already have if interested. You will have to remove the handguard to attach the rail but assure you it's very simple. Hope this helps, link to picatinny rail here.............. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/723002895/ncstar+ar15+gen2+handguard+rail+black
Gavin, for adding a flashlight & angled grip, I would recommend this AR-15 Extended Quad Rail Handguard with Front Sight Post Cutout. You just remove the cheep plastic factory handguard, and this drops right in. It has plenty of room for all the accessories you want to add. >>>> https://monstrumtactical.com/ar-15-quad-rail-extended-drop-in-fsp-cutout/ .... Have a great day!
