Jeffery, Bud's should provide it to your FFL, but is is always a good idea to contact the FFL ahead of time so they will know you have a gun coming.
yes buds provided it in the order that nis shipped with the gun. I give my FFL a call so he knows that a package is coming from buds in case he needs to make arrangements to receive the order. This comes into play with small FFLs like the one I use (part Time FFL)
Jeffrey, you do not as Buds sends all contact information to your local FFL with your firearm. I contact my local FFL strictly out of courtesy to be aware I have an incoming order. Cheers and stay safe!
As mentioned, Bud's will forward the necessary contact info to your FFL of choice. But, Also as mentioned by James G., You can give your FFL a heads up about your inbound transfer coming their way.
Jeffrey, buds adds your phone number in the package so the FFL can contact you when it's delivered. It's not mandatory but I always contact the FFL dealer and tell them I'm going to ship a firearm to them before I purchase it so there's no surprise like the FFL dealer going out of town or anything. Another thing to keep in mind is some FFL dealers will contact you when it's delivered and some won't, they're not obligated to contact you. So I always keep track of my package using the tracking number and if the FFL doesn't contact me within 48 hrs I'll contact them. Hope this helps.
