Stephen, unfortunately no, you cannot shoot 22lr threw the 22 mag cylinder. You would have to purchase the 22lr cylinder in order to shoot 22lr. I'd give the manufacturer a call at 1-800-821-5783 to see if they'll sell you one separately. Sorry but hope this helps.
As mentioned below you'd need to have the 22LR cylinder.
