all .22 lr will work in the .22 lr cylinder. any .22 mag./WMR will work in the .22 mag cylinder.

James, yes sir, the Winchester x 22 mag will work just fine. Just make sure you're using the 22 mag cylinder and not the 22lr cylinder. Hope this helps.

James, if it is .22lr, it will only work in the .22lr cylinder. If it is .22WinMag/.22Mag/.22WMR it will only work in the .22Mag cylinder. They are not interchangeable. Have a great day!
