Chris, yes sir, you can purchase both long guns & hand guns at 18 yrs of age in Indiana. Exceptions - Firearms dealers or private individuals may not sell any firearm to someone less 23 years old if the buyer was "adjudicated a delinquent child for an act that would be a felony if committed by an adult".
