Since it is a new pistol, for warranty sake I would contact Beretta Customer Service for advice/service at (800) 237-3882. A replacement hammer spring may resolve but Beretta will know best. Cheers and stay safe!
Erick, that's weird. Sounds like a weak/faulty spring. That or know when I got my M9A1 it was covered in a sticky lube, that could be making the firing pin hang up. As others mentioned unfortunately your best option is to call Beretta for warranty work at (800) 237-3882. That or take it to a gunsmith and see if it's some simple easy fix. Sorry you're having trouble but hope this helps and good luck.
Erick, your best bet is to contact Beretta direct at (800) 237-3882. Good luck & have a great day!
