Marques, Passport is ID, but you still need something with your address to meet federal requirements. We use passports plus temp driver's licenses, hunting licenses, etc all the time. Cheers and stay safe!
Marques, no you cannot use your passport. Your passport does not have your address on it. You need a gov't issued ID that has your address on it to purchase a firearm.
Marques, unfortunately no you can't use a passport. It has to be a government issued ID with your address. A driver's license, if you don't have your license you can get a state ID card and use that to purchase a firearm and they're quick and easy to get. Sorry but hope this helps.
As mentioned it's a No using your passport. Just obtain a US government issued I.D. & you're be good to go. Now of course, this depends also upon the state you live in & what their requirements are for owning a particular firearm, especially a Pistol. Good Luck moving forward!!!
I think james is correct it would work with something showing your address I would contact your local FFL because his answer will be the one that counts
