After doing a bit of digging, this is a common complaint with regards to the mags hanging up. One fellow said he had feeding issues due to the double stack design but who knows if there's another issue. The Tx22 did have a recall with certain serial #'s with barrel issues. I'd give their customer service line a call to see if they could better address this issue?
Hey William was wondering if you had tried a dry lube on and in the mag after cleaning? That is one thing I recommend to my customers to do as it's a pretty easy inexpensive chance before they bring it to me for gunsmithing services
Hi William, I coated my magazines with white chalk, inserted them and removed and the area with the most chalk loss will be the area of greatest resistance. Use fine sand paper to smooth that area and repeat until you get the desired results. Cheers and stay safe!
William, I would recommend adding some type of oil. That and some magazines require a break in period. So it might not function properly until you've used it enough to smooth out all the rough edges to properly work. If that doesn't work I'd contact Taurus at 229-235-4020 or 800-327-3776 they may be willing to ship you out new mags. Sorry you're having trouble but hope this helps.
