Michael, no the standard Glock 17 gen 5 is not optics ready. In order to add a red dot you would have to send it to a gunsmith to have the slide cut to accept red dots, buy a aftermarket slide, or they make dovetail red dot adapters that replace your rear sight to add one. If you want one that's optics ready you would have to get the Glock 17 mos/modular optics system version. Buds only has two mos versions in stock. Here's a link to the first one if interested.................. budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/139022/glock+pa175s204mos+g17+gen5+mos+9mm+luger+4.49+17+1+overall+black+coyote+battle+worn+flag+steel+with+front+serrations+%26+mos+cut .................. And here's a link to the second one................. budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/142380/glock+pa175s204mos-bwfs+g17+gen5+mos+9mm+4.49+17+1+black+polymer+frame+battle+worn+flag+cerakote+steel+with+front+serrati .................. Sorry but hope this helps
Hi Michael, you would need to purchase an Optics Ready model such as : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/142380/glock+pa175s204mos-bwfs+g17+gen5+mos+9mm+4.49+17+1+black+polymer+frame+battle+worn+flag+cerakote+steel+with+front+serrati ----------------------------- or ------------------------------- https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/139022/glock+pa175s204mos+g17+gen5+mos+9mm+luger+4.49+17+1+overall+black+coyote+battle+worn+flag+steel+with+front+serrations+%26+mos+cut ----------------- Cheers and stay safe!
As mentioned below you would need to purchase an optics ready G17 MOS model or, have the standard slide sent out to be milled to accept a red dot optic.
