Hi Michael, I normally fire 200 or so rounds, clean and lube and repeat with different 22LR ammunition. This allows me to both, find what 22lr ammo is most accurate and which is cleaner burning. I then stock up on what performs best in my firearm according to my bullet needs and use. In between shooting session maintenance consists of a cleaning, lube and inspection after each shooting session wraps up is a solid maintenance strategy. Cheers and stay safe!

Michael, since it's new I'd recommend a nice thorough cleaning, take it apart Clean everything and lube. I always recommend cleaning any firearm when you first get it because the manufacturing process leaves behind alot of residue and manufacturers tend to use alot of thick grease so it can safely be stored for extended periods, wich can cause malfunctions especially in colder weather. I also clean any firearm after the first range trip to help the break in process. So I'd give it a good cleaning and after that just depends on your preference. For my nicer/expensive firearms I try to clean them every time I shoot them but can get old cleaning them all the time. General rule of thumb at the least id recommend Cleaning/lube every 500 rounds or every 6 months whichever comes first. Hope this helps.
