Even the aft doesn't seem to know what they will be doing between one day and the next so it's hard for anyone to know. Of course this affects a much smaller subset of people and regulating shotguns vs scary looking semi autos would seem to be of much lower priority.... but stranger and more absurd things have happened before so it cant be completely ruled out. If you ask me for my opinion, doubtful that it will be any time soon.
Hi Jonathon, not currently Sir but, I would be on the lookout for an attempt soon. Let's hope current lawsuits put a stop to the madness. Cheers and stay safe!
Jonathan, as others have stated NO. The Mossberg shockwave is not considered a pistol or shotgun, it's just classified as an other/firearm. So the new pistol brace ruling wouldn't affect them and the ATF has nothing pending that would affect the shockwave. Can't say they won't ever go after them but for now no issues. Hope this helps.
Jonathon, no sir, the ATF brace ruling does not apply to the Mossberg Shockwave. The ruling applies to firearms with pistol braces, that would be re-classified as SBR's. The ruling will not turn any firearms into short barreled shotguns. Have a great day!
It's considered an AOW (any other weapon) no tax stamp needed. Good luck sir
