Allan, both are great options but I'd go with the Tikka t3x hands down. They make great rifles and come with a sub moa accuracy guarantee wich means it's guaranteed to shoot 3 shot groups of 1 inch or less at 100 yards with match ammo. Weatherby vanguard's also good but think the Tikka has better quality. Hope this helps and good luck with your choice
