John Henry, yes buds will do it automatically. If for some reason buds would accidentally send the magazines it would actually be beneficial to you. Your FFL could still transfer the firearm to you they would just have to remove/keep the magazines. They might also be able to pin the magazines to only hold 15 rounds making them state compliant. If they can pin them you would be able to keep the magazines. Unfortunately buds is pretty good about removing the magazines, was just letting you know if for some reason buds mistakingly sent them you would still be able to pick up the firearm. If you wish to request buds to remove the magazines you can contact them at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm or you can use the blue chat button at the bottom right corner of your screen. They can help complete the order over the phone. Hope this helps.
As mentioned, Bud's removes magazines that are over your states max capacity. But, also as mentioned, if you get lucky they will be sent. Then you can have your FFL pin the mags to your states legal round capacity.
Hi John, Buds policy is to remove non-State compliant magazines. Shipping a citizen's firearm would be a serious Federal Law violation which buds will not do. FFL and LE are a different matter. Of course, you would be responsible for acquiring compliant magazines on your own. Cheers and stay safe!
