Kevin, we're just customers as yourself not buds employees but according to buds policy the 20% down payment is non-refundable. I know buds is normally willing to work with people so I'd recommend contacting them at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm or you can use the blue chat button at the bottom right corner of your screen to see if they'll waive the fee. Hi Kevin, yes Sir you can. I would contact Buds Customer Service ask to cancel without charging a cancellation fee. It is ultimately at their discretion but ask anyway. Buds policy on layaway is as follows: "If a layaway is cancelled prior to 90 days the 20% deposit will NOT be refunded." You may want to call Bud's customer service though at 1-859-368-0371 9am-8pm EST Mon-Fri. To see if your situation will persuade them to not keep the layaway deposit.
