David, a shop I use to buy alot of ammo at called ( target sports USA ) has some 5.56 wolf gold in stock for .48 cents a round, so $9.60 for 20 and $479.99 for a thousand round case. So if your firearm is rated for 5.56 I'd recommend that because the wolf gold 223 is hard to find and very expensive when you do. That's about the cheapest your going to find it because of Bidens Russian ammo ban. Wolf ammo was made in Russia so prices for wolf, tulammo, barnaul, red army are going way up. I've heard wolf ammo is now being made in Taiwan. So hopefully prices will start to decrease. You can either Google ( wolf gold ammo) and it's the first website or here's a link to their website. I've bought quite a bit of ammo from them and never had any issues.
