Ron, the cimmaron 1878 coach gun is made in Brescia, Italy and has a 3 inch chamber so it can safely fire both 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. Now the Pietta 1878 coach gun has a 2-3/4 inch chamber so it cannot shoot 3 inch shells and is manufactured in Gussago, Italy. Hope this helps.
