Edward, Bud's lifetime warranty is a supplemental warranty, to be used AFTER the manufacturer's warranty has expired. If your gun has a lifetime warranty, you are throwing money away by purchasing Bud's warranty. Hi Edward, Limited Lifetime Warranty is only recommended if the Manufacturer's warranty is less than life time. Otherwise, it serves no true purpose other than monetary benefit to Buds or any other retailer as the original claim must be made with the manufacturer anyway whether the manufacturer warranty is 1 year or lifetime.
