The sights are the only difference. The 320C9BSS Compact has "Siglite Night Sights" and the 320C9B has "Standard Contrast non Night Sights" .

I believe they're the same actually per the Sig page. They both state to have Siglite Sights.

The 320c9bss have a theaded barrel. The 320c98 comes in strike double action.
