Eric, if you plan on using a bigger magazine like 10 rounds or say a 20 round drum I'd definitely go with the tokarev tar. Longer magazines in a bullpup can be problematic and make it hard to grip properly especially if using a drum magazine. Either will work with ar12 magazines or mka 1919 magazins/drums. Hi Eric, The TAR is recommended. Eric, I would opt for the TAR. I wouldn't worry about balance, the bigger issue is the larger magazines, used in a bullpup, may interfere with the handling of the gun, being behind the trigger/pistol grip and closer to your body, especially if you are shooting from a defensive position.
