Hi Richard, Buds guns that are labeled as Factory New are sealed from the manufacturer and not opened by Buds. They are new but may have remnants of soot or carbon from factory firing or testing. Cheers and stay safe!

Richard, no buds new firearms aren't refurbished. Buds ships the firearms how they get them from the manufacturer. Buds also sells used firearms but they are clearly marked used. Manufacturers usually test fire new firearms to test for reliability/accuracy. So most new firearms have been fired atleast a couple times. Also the manufacturing process leaves behind a residue wich resembles burnt powder and can make it look used. If the slides scratched or anything like that I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer and seeing what they can do. Hope this helps.

Bud's New Firearms ARE New. But, firearms are shot/tested before leaving the manufacturer so one may think a New firearm is used but it is NOT. Bud's used Firearms are marked as so.

Richard, unless noted as used or refurbished, all Bud's guns are factory new.
