Hi Robert, the difference between the Retro and the 75B are: modified short frame, rounded trigger guard, smaller magazine release button and the old hammer. The big difference is that the Retro has the internal automatic firing-pin block safety. The "B" in the Type B models doesn't stand for "block," but it may be helpful to think of it that way. Restated, the CZ-75 Retro is a Type B pistol with a rounded trigger guard and spur hammer.
