Hi Johnny, yes Sir it will no issue. I have several 1 in 8 Twist Rate AR's and the Winchester 40g varmintX polymer tip, Fiocchi 40gr polymer tip are laser accurate through this twist rate. Cheers and stay safe!

Johnny, yes it will fit and function just fine. Normally though 1:8 twist ratios work well with medium to heavy grain ammo like 55-68 grain for best accuracy. Lighter 40 grain ammo works well in 1:9 twist and heavy grain ammo like 68-75+ works well in 1:7 twists. It doesn't hurt to experiment with different grain weights though because I've had AR's with 1:7 twist like lighter ammo and 1:9 like heavier ammo. I'd recommend buying a box or two and test it out, if it's accurate then stock up. If interested here's a link to 55grain polymer tipped ammo that might be better suited for your 1:8 twist ratio.
