John, hard to say and I'm not finding any information on if Kimber has any plans on making a California compliant K6xs version. Your best option would be to contact Kimber at 1-888-243-4522 or you can email them at ( customerservice@kimberamerica.com ) Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m.– 5 p.m. sorry can't give a definite answer but hope this helps some.
