Gary, unless you already purchased sling attachment mounts for your gsg 16 you would have to get those to mount one. The gsg has a picatinny rail on top of the stock where you can attach a sling swivel and use a one point sling or you can buy two sling mounts, one for the stocks picatinny rail and one can attach to the picatinny rail on the handguard. If interested here's a link to an inexpensive qd/quick detach swivel mount so you can install a sling.................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/723025446/sling+rail+mount+w+quick+release+push+button+swivel ..................... After installing those really any sling will work. Here's a link to a sling that would work with the swivel mounts I recommended.................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/723024256/1+2+point+rifle+sling+hk+black ..................... Hope this helps.
As Josh T. mentioned, there are no sling mounts on the GSG-16. The piccatinny rails on the stock and fore end hand rail can be used to attach a sling mount. Now I personally prefer a sling with the quick disconnect ends in the link below. This type of sling can also go from a single point to 2 point attachment depending on your preference. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/10401/magpul+mag515-blk+ms3+single+qd+sling+gen2+1.25+w+adjustable+one-two+point+black+nylon+webbing+for+rifle
Hi Gary and welcome. On the GSG 16 you would need a picatinny based sling mount : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/723025446/sling+rail+mount+w+quick+release+push+button+swivel ------------------- and I would go with a combo 1 point/2 point sling for more versatility : https://ktactical.com/product/tactical-1-point-2-point-sling-black-ar-rifle-shotgun-duty-single-point-sling/ - Cheers and stay safe!
