I have a 2.0 shield 9mm magazine is8+1 can I use A larger magazine or due I have too buy a new one,would like to use 16 round magazine M&P 9 Shield M2.0 ez.#NJV7178 will it take a stackable magazine.

Hi Peterson and welcome. Unfortunately your Shield is a Single Stack desiged pistol and and will not take the larger capacity Double Stacked Magazines as they are too wide to fit. Peterson, unfortunately no they won't fit. The shield 2.0 uses single stack magazines, so double stack magazines like the 16 round won't fit. The highest capacity I could find is a 10 round mag made by promag. Hi Peterson, unfortunately you are stuck with the 7 & 8 rd magazines that come with the gun, as the Shield 2.0 will not accept double stack magazines. You can always trade up to the S&W Shield Plus, which takes double stack mags. Stay safe & have a great day!
