Hi Jose and welcome to Bud's. I would give him 24 hrs (this will give him time to have the gun logged in), if you don't hear from him by then, I would give a call. Some FFL dealers will call you when your gun arrives, others won't. Enjoy your new gun, stay safe, & have a great day!
If this is your regular FFL you frequent then I'd give them a heads up that an inbound transfer will be arriving for you. If this is a place you don't often use then I'd give them a call after you may have gotten notification it has arrived. As mentioned below, some FFL dealers call right away to let you know you can pick up your firearm while other dealers are a bit lackadaisical on getting to those calls! Enjoy your new Firearm!!
Hi Jose and welcome to the Buds Community. I always call to see if my FFL has entered the firearm into their inventory. They can't transfer it to you until then. After they do this they will call you automatically to come in and complete the paperwork. Cheers and stay safe!
Jose, I normally give my FFL dealer until the next day to call. If they don't then I'll call him but completely up to you. Normally mines pretty good about it and calls me within an hour or two of it being delivered. Hope this helps.
