I live in Illinois and the laws restrict the purchase of an magazines over 10rds for rifles. I am interested in this rifle, but I need to know if there is an option to get the weapon sent with a 10-round mag instead of the 30+1 that it is stated to come with. I just want to make sure that what I purchase is comliant with the laws in my state before I spend the money on something I can't legally own.

Unfortunately, with the current change to Illinois gun "Control" Bud's doesn't swap out the higher capacity round mags with a particular states restricted capacity mags. You would need to purchase the 10 round mags on your own.

Brain, unfortunately, this gun is not Illinois complaint even with a 10rd magazine. Under the new law, any semi-auto rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine cannot have a pistol grip, telescoping stock, or flash hider.
