Hi Jon, This is a " Blem " model due to a very minor mill mark or two on the 10" inch M-LOK rail. The marks in question are anodized over and are hardly noticeable and even if they are noticed it is difficult to tell that they do not belong there. Otherwise, the rifles are perfect in every way and all factory warranties still apply. Blem rifles are a great way to save money and still get the same quality of firearm from a shooting perspective. Jon, as others blemished firearms are only cosmetic issues and Don't affect reliability or function of the firearm. This one's considered blemished due to mill marks on the mlok handguard. You can view pictures of the blemished handguard by googling the upc (810113111483) and clicking on the third website classic firearms. I checked out the pictures and from what I can see really not noticeable. So would save a few bucks for really no difference. Hope this helps.

As mentioned below, the blemishes will be found on the M-Lok handrail. They may vary from each piece but if it's a consistent milling blemish then probably all of these models will have the Blemish in the same area. Many times these "Blems" are hardly noticeable. Good Luck!!
