I wish to purchase a CZ 600 Range from Bud's. Bud says they cannot ship to CA because the 600 is not on the CA DOJ approved list. But, I thought the approved list applied to handguns only. What gives??

I wish to purchase a CZ 600 Range from Bud's.  Bud says they cannot ship to CA because the 600 is not on the CA DOJ approved list. But, I thought the approved list applied to handguns only. What gives??

Hi Eric, you are correct, the roster is for handguns. This is a glitch on the website. As long as the gun is CA compliant (which this is) you can complete checkout by calling Bud's customer service at 859-368-0371, 9am-9pm eastern Mon-Sat and 11-7 Sunday.

Hi Eric and welcome. This is a Bolt Action Rifle and not subject to the same restriction as Semi-Auto Rifles in CA. Buds Customer Service can get this corrected for you at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday. Eric, this is California compliant. Bolt actions don't have the same restrictions as semi automatics. Know buds website sometimes acts as if a firearm isn't compliant even if it is. I'd recommend contacting buds customer service at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm or you can use the blue chat button at the bottom right corner of your screen. They'll be able to assist you. We're just customers as yourself not buds employees so we can only point you in the right direction. Sorry you're having trouble but hope this helps
