After 20 rounds through an A300 Ultima Patrol (SB), took me well over an hour with lead remove, bronze brush and bore snake to get all the lead out.. In the end had to resort to putting the brush rod in a drill and working it on the lead, then the snake then the brush .. repeat.. got it clean but what a mess. Contacted Berretta support as I am a new to guns owner and have no idea if this is amo or barrel issue.. This stuff was very accurate at the indoor range form 15 yards even in my hands

Yeah, the softer lead content of these rounds will leave behind a wake of residue. Sorry but at least you  now know how to give your girl a good clean out!!!

Doug, unfortunately this is common with slugs, no matter the brand. The softer the lead, the more fouling. You may want to try something like Dyna Tek bore coat kit, (although not sure if they still make that exact brand) it can eliminate or greatly reduce all types of fouling- $45. Then use Slick 50 aerosol spray. The key to non fouling is a very smooth barrel with a mirror like finish. If you use any kind of treatment make sure the barrel is clean first!
