Is this shotgun legal for sale in Illinois. There is a sentence in the law that states "ANY shotgun with a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 5 rounds"

Steve, this is no longer legal in Illinois.  Prohibited - "a fixed magazine with the capacity of more than 5 rounds"
The only way it would be legal would be to have the magazine permanently altered to hold only 5 round and Bud's will not ship unless it is compliant as is.

Steve, this is not legal in Illinois because of the 8+1 magazine capacity. No shotgun can have over a 5 round capacity weather it's semi automatic, pump, has a fixed magazine tube or detachable magazine. Sorry but hope this helps.
