Hi Richard. This is a matter of which appeals to you best. I have three Diamondback Rifles in 5.56, .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor and I will put them up against rifles costing 3 times as much. The Ruger also has reviewed to be durable and accurate and I have no doubt it would do the job as well. I say watch some actual reviews on youtube and then make your choice. Then find which ammunition is most accurate and then stock up. Cheers and stay safe!

Richard, my first choice would be the cmmg resolute, then the Ruger, then the Diamondback. All fine choices but feel cmmg has better quality. The Ruger and Diamondback are about equal with Ruger having a slight edge. Again all fine choices but if it was me I'd go with cmmg. If you use Facebook I'd recommend checking out a AR-15 group. Im joined a AR-15 builders group and one called all about AR's where you can ask questions like this and get a response from a hundred people. Hope this helps and good luck with your choice.

Richard, all 3 are fine choices. I would choose Ruger over Diamondback , only because DB has a bad rep for QC. I'm not familiar w/CMMG model, but it gets rave reviews and is supposed to be superiorly accurate. Stay safe & have a great day!
