Wilfredo, yes but because the barrel isn't threaded the only way to add a compensator would be to change out the barrel bushing with a barrel bushing mounted compensator. Pretty much any 1911 with a barrel bushing can mount a compensator that way. Just Google ( 1911 barrel bushing compensator) to find one, just make sure it's for 9mm.
