Hi Matt and welcome. The Tisas PX-9 is +P Rated. It will only require more frequent cleaning and inspection intervals if firing a steady diet of the same. Cheers and stay safe!

Matt,yes sir, the Tisas PX-9 is rated for +p ammo. As with every manufacturer they recommend limited use since it can wear parts faster than standard velocity ammo but honestly unless you're shooting thousands of rounds doubt you'll ever notice a difference. If you only plan on shooting it once in awhile to test self defense loads won't ever notice a difference. Hope this helps and you're very welcome.
