Patrick, yes, the ruger super wrangler is perfectly legal in Illinois. It has a robust steel cylinder and frame. So it's not made of alloy like the standard wrangler wich would prohibit it in Illinois but again it's made of steel. So you're good to go. Hope this helps
Patrick, yes sir! The newly unveiled Ruger Super Wrangler is legal everywhere (including California oddly enough) except for Massachusetts. Prohibited: Any handgun having a barrel, slide, frame or receiver that has a die casting of zinc alloy or any other non-homogenous metal, which will melt or deform at a temperature of 800 degrees F or less, The Super Wrangler does not meet that criteria.
