here is a review on the 700sps http://www.majorpandemic.com/2014/12/remington-700-sps-tactical-308-review.html I would go with the sps and good optics then see if the accuracy is good enough for you if not then you can start with the Mods to improve it

Hey Jose, you seem to be in a quandary on this. The Police is the better rifle period. You can certainly upgrade the SPS but, you will end up paying more.
